The plot was good at first but slowly gets worse as the show progresses. It seemed like they didn't spend enough time writing the story and focused mostly on Yuno. Yuno was a pretty great character throughout the series though and is probably why so many still like this show. The art and sound were also great and kinda reminded me of one punch man, some parts were poorly animated but it wasn't distracting.
You should watch this if you like the premise or the whole yandere thing with Yuno a lot, but the plot wasn't that great and only some characters were fully developed and relatable. There are tons of plot holes so don't try analyzing every detail. The ending was pretty garbage and the only thing that saved it was the OVA Mirai Nikki Redial since at least it had like 30 seconds of a proper ending.
Some scenes were done really well but some parts weren't very interesting or didn't really add to the plot at all. I had high hopes that this show would be good since its opening was definitely the best one I've ever seen, but it tended to try a little too hard to be edgy and was a little predictable or unorganized at times. You'll probably enjoy this if you're new to anime, but if you've seen a lot, you might not appreciate the plot or characters in this show since other shows have much better execution. If you want yandere though, there's not really any other show that does it better than this one.
I'm not really sure how to rate this, some parts of the plot were fantastic, but some parts were pretty bad. It wasn't consistently mediocre or great, and I don't want to give a bad rating just because some of it was disappointing.
