Story 7/10
Kagame is a normal high school girl. Her normal life ends when one day a demon drags her into a well where she ends up in Feudal Japan. While in Feudal Japan, she meets a half-demon, half-human breed known as Inuyasha. Inuyasha seeks to use the Shikon Jewel to become a full-fledge demon. As they fight a demon, Kagome shoots an arrow through the demon (the demon ate the Shikon Jewel and Kagome shot an arrow in order to kill it) and the Shikon Jewel shatters. Together, Kagome and Inuyasha must travel Feudal Japan in order to retrieve the shards in order to prevent it from falling into the wrong hands.

The story gets repetitive at times, which is why I took points away, but it didn't bother me, but I know it bothers a lot of people.

Art 9/10
The art is great. It's very nice and has a warm and family/kid friendly feel to it. 'Nuff said.

Sound 7/10
The soundtrack is nice. For me personally, the kind of music they played isn't really for me. But overall, they did a good job with the soundtrack

Character 9/10
What makes Inuyasha truly special is its characters. The interactions between Kagome and her companions are just a lot of fun to watch. Also, the interactions between Sesshomaru and Rin is just so adorable to watch. I just wish they developed Naraku (the main villain) more. Like, I understand he is a person who isn't suppose to have a lot of emotions, but I just wished they showed a bit more of his internal struggles. I mean, they gave Kaguya a character development but the rest of Naraku's minions, I also wished they somewhat gave them some development.

Enjoyment 7/10
Overall, this anime is a fun watch. I really enjoyed the anime because of its characters, despite that the story isn't all that great.

Overall 8/10
Inuyasha is a great anime if you're looking for some fun character interactions. I really enjoyed the anime and by the end of Inuyasha: The Final Act (after you finish this series, go watch Inuyasha: The Final Act; it is a continuation of this series) I wanted more. The show was so much fun to watch that I just wanted to see more.
