Alright I'll be the first to admit that this wasnt the best series by any means; while the premise is new and has an interesting twist to your typical school anime, the characters are super archetypal, the cliches are old and hashed up again and again, and sometimes the QUALITY is ridiculous. BUT: I have never laughed so much to any anime or any other medium that I can remember. ever. The MC falls for the same tricks repeatedly but his reactions are priceless, the love-triangle in the story is entertaining and hilarious and not the regular forced drama one might expect from an anime like this. but at it's heart, I love Bakatest for how goddam funny it was, how uncontrollably it made me laugh, the central theme of the lower, less advantaged rising up and proving their worth and finally, the ending song is one of my favorite of any anime I've seen.
