Story
(Title)
bloomark was a mystery to me. The only connection that this had to the story was that it shared the same name as the big story that comes first in the manga. I tried doing some research on to what bloomark could mean but it appears to be unique to English and Japanese. Perhaps it is a blend of multiple works or two i originally thought. Turns out i wasn't that off base.

While I can't say for sure without having inside knowledge, i think this writer was creative/sneaky with the name. You had the main story on a certain clothing fetish and other minor stories. The Japanese have a particular name for this fetish which is covered in the manga. When that name is translated to english you have bloo_ _ _ _(sorry you have to read the manga to figure it out). So, that gives the first part of the name as for the remaining portion this is more of interpretative guess rather than an educated answer. I think this part was meant to cover the remaining stories in the manga, the minor ones. While it is hard to prove for some of the stories generally the minor stories were firsts in some manner. Now a first can be seen as a start. And a start can lead to an adventure. Which can really 'mark' a turning point. What a clever name, rather than being simplistic. Which makes me wonder was this artist intending for distribution to America as well as japan?

(message/plot)
Each story was simple and comical. There are 7 stories in total. Also, included in the manga was a behind look at some of the stories. For those who wonder what the creator was thinking at the time. No, it is not told in a documentary fashion which i interpret as boring. It is told in narrative form with a comical aspect in itself. Not only that the artist praises as you read. It is nice to have some visual stimulation (that is why you bought the manga to begin with) but to know you are making the creator happy by reading the 'bonus section' makes me smile at least.

If you felt you did not enjoy the main story's subject manner, worry not. For the subject manner changed per story. The only thing that didn't was the characters 'attributes'.

Art
While the story was mostly black and white the artist was kind enough to provide a mental insight oh the alleged turnout if it was colored. Unfortunately that was only done for two of the stories. I think having a page colored for each story rather than four or so for certain stories would be more appreciated.

Another thing that would be appreciated was insight on to the origin idea for the index page. For the story it references didn't cover that 'element' unless i overlooked something.

Overall: While i appreciated the main story i don't think the need to change the story entirely was needed (minor chapters). On a more higher regarding note the ending of the main story was emotionally touching. Lastly, the creator does go an extra mile at forming a connection to the viewer.
