Mixed Feelings
Sit down kids, I'll tell you the tale of "Overlord", also known as "I've wasted 6 hours watching this shit but I don't feel nor good nor bad about it."

I'm not going to write a long review, it's not worth, really. Simply put: Overlord has an amazing premise. A really cool looking, overpowered, lich lord, with all the power in the world, ready to explore and very possibly conquer a completely new world, with his overpowered followers? FUCK, looks great. And for the first episodes after the first two (they acted as a setup) it was! Ainz (Or Momon, however ya wanna call him), really gave the impression of the overpowered, godtier guy and it was done well, giving me a boner whenever he showed how great his power was.
But then...eh.
I started to realize, episode by episode, how the anime is overall bland: the protagonist (again, he is probably the most powerful being in the world and he knows that), spends his time being the insecure idiot-smartass that he is, """exploring""" his new surroundings and defending himself from fucking worms that can't hurt him anyway (why he is even worried about them?) while his followers, who are all bland characters with no interesting personality, do stuff for him. The premise of this godtier being destroying and conquering everything is soon gone by episode 6, and falls even more as the writer puts some bullshit to make stuff more spicy ("OH MY GOD X IS BEING MIND CONTROLLED BY SOMEBODY FOR NO REASON AT ALL I AM SO WORRIED ABOUT IT AND I SPEND TWO EPISODES FIGHTING X ALTHOUGH THE FIGHT COULD'VE ENDED IN THREE SECONDS WOW"). To top it off, there are even more useless characters and at the end of the anime the protagonist walks out of a tavern saying some bullshit like "GUYS GET READY OMG DIS GON BE BIG" to characters that we don't know just to hype us up. Well, I'm not hyped. I'm disgusted that a character that looked like he was going to be GREAT ended up being meh. And that's the worst kind of disappointment: I couldn't see the bullshit at first, and ended up wasting precious time on it because of this cool looking skeleton guy.

Sigh.

6/10 and I'm being generous.
