This was a very abstract and well thought out story. I have never seen an anime similar to Lain and probably never will. It's dark and yet innocent all at the same time. I'm one for character development stories and you see how she interacts with everything that's so new and the discovery of herself.
The way she perceives her family, friends, even people she just meets, not to mention the other personality of Lain.
The opening and ending music to this series was amazing, though the opening is constantly confused as being from Kwon BoA, it is not. It's from a foreign group named Boa.
