The anime is absolutely ridiculous, the main character is basically an extremely overpowered character that could do whatever he wants. However he views his abilities as terribly inconvenient to have and just wants to live a normal live. But that can't happen with all the other "special" characters around him.
Just like Gintama this anime thrives by throwing together ridiculous characters in all kinds of situations and then chain together jokes one after another until you can't stop laughing.
