Watching Skip Beat was one of the most entertaining and touching experiences I had since I've started watching anime. I highly recommend it to anyone who is in the mood of laughing till their stomach hurts. It's also quite moving, and as much as I hate to admit, my eyes teared up more than once. Sure, the story is quite naive, but that only gives it an extra kick.
Mogami Kyoko is one of the best female characters I've had the pleasure of watching. She starts out as a passive, typical shoujo young girl, innocent beyond innocence itself. She looses that trait as she is betrayed and she strives to reinvent herself and to regain the trust in people and in love. And she's so damn fun!
Skip Beat is an onging manga, but nonetheless, the anime is wrapped up nicely, which is not very often in similar cases.
Just WATCH IT, please!
