This won't be an extensive review but I'll just make some points that I want to mention.

The art and sound I had no real issues with. In fact, the last opening theme was my favorite and I could not stop singing along! Very wonderful and enjoyable.

The story and Dan's character is where critiques come in. SPOILER WARNING!!

At first, Dan starts off as this rowdy and loud character that is worried about his sister's future in an adorable way that makes him sorta cliche, but not entirely. He has moments where he is vulnerable and you see his true colors. One thing that kind of upsets me is that there was absolutely no talk of his sister's legs at all in the later episodes. He made no mention of it once he started playing Basquash and only said he had to "get to the moon". That's it? Of course, healing his sister is implied but it shouldn't be. His overall goal throughout the series should be towards healing his sister. Instead, it turned into a save-the-world plot? A bit odd for a sports anime.
Like I mentioned, Dan wants to get to the moon in the beginning in order to take his sister with him. Emphasis on TAKE HIS SISTER WITH. Yet she goes there on her own with Slash and isn't even treated right away. Meanwhile, Dan is decreasingly concerned about her well-being. As the show goes along, he focuses more on Basquashing, which is fine, but it seems like there can only be one thing to focus on at a time with him.
As for the "saving the world" bit: it may have a place in this anime, but the whole idea of the Gods playing basketball is over-doing it. If instead, he had to save the world for a different reason other than "he's the legend it has to be him" and "It's what I am now". I would have liked for him to stick to his roots/original focus more, which is being rowdy and doing what he pleases, without having this thing about Gods/Legends influence him.
However, I do like the fact that he is dedicated to Basquash throughout the show. He plays for his love of the sport, yet later on it adds this sense of necessity to be what the people expect of him.
Overall, the story and Dan's character were both fun to watch but need improvements.

This does not mean that I did not thoroughly enjoy this anime, even if I am a bit late in watching it! 10/10 would recommend!
