For me personally, the manga (and the anime) was a solid 6. It's nothing ground-breaking and barely memorable, but it's clear that's it not suppose to be. It's a light-hearted romcom with a revenge story sprinkled in for some flavor. From the first chapter, the route the story will take is predictable, and some might find this bland. The predictability of the story is actually what drew me to it however. I was looking for something that was easy to chew, and Masamune-Kun No Revenge delivered on that. I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking for the same thing.
But if you are looking for a manga with amazing character depth and a mind-blowing story, look somewhere else. Masamune-Kun No Revenge is a fun ride, but it's not that kind of story. It's characters are sometimes inconsistent, and often their actions boil down to "we need to keep the plot moving." And there's nothing wrong with having an easy-to-chew story, but I just want to stress that despite having a interesting premise, the story is, at it's heart, a high school love comedy. Do not put your expectations put too high, suspend your disbelief, and just enjoy the laughter and romance. If you can't do that, this isn't the manga for you.
