This is a must watch, must read, to anyone out there, whether you're young or old, it doesn't matter. If you're too young to understand, it's okay, one day it'll hit you. If you're too old, and all this is just trivial youth moments you don't care for, you've become bitter and this will definitely heal you.
As the title suggest, it is a romantic comedy, but not what you'd expect. The story is pretty standard, focusing on some high schoolers who are in a club together, not by choice, but by situation. Where the plot of the story may have no real progression, the real progression is made through character development. There is nothing better than watching a character(s) you have invested in grow and change.
The story starts out pretty light, but it'll get heavy later.
The cast of characters are delightfully hilarious, and have their own distinct characteristics that makes them all likeable. The banter between all the characters will leave you feeling satisfied, because none of it really feels like it is wasted dialogue. It is a mix of sarcasm, dark humor, normal humor, all in one. Sometimes you'll see the characters have a dispute over something, both presenting sides that you sometimes would agree with, one more than the other, and find yourself at a standstill between 2 opposition.
There's not much one can say without spoiling, so I leave the reading up to you. It is an enjoyable read. You'll find yourself smiling like a creep sometimes, and I think that's just fine.
I am currently trying to add this LN/Manga to my collection as it slowly releases in the US. Worth.
