Let me start by saying those who reviewed based on one episode or those who didn't know this was based on a dating sim and reviewed are missing the whole perspective and need to give this show (as well as the game) another chance with the whole perspective.

I had seen art for the game and it intrigued me enough that I want to watch detailed playthroughs for sure, but what I hadn't known until recently is that this anime existed. I was actually pretty excited to watch it even though I knew most people wouldn't care for it.

I was immediately drawn in by the art and the character designs. I create a lot of my own original characters and I have been an artist all my life, so if a show lacks in any of these areas I find it hard to watch. I love that each character has their own unique look which brings out their personality. I very much enjoyed the art style and I spent a lot of time analyzing what I liked about it so that I could incorporate it into my own art. When a dating sim is involved, often the main female with be generic or boring. I didn't find her that way at all. She had her own unique appearance, past and personality and that made me very happy. So for art I give an (8) because the art was lovely, but I did catch a few lazy animations here and there that could easily have been made better.

The story itself and the characters go hand in hand. The story revolves around getting to know the characters. 2 episodes each are dedicated to giving you an overview of the character's past, personality, and who they interact with most. I do believe that the reasons things were not super detailed were as follows: 1.) This was meant to introduce you to the game so you'd be more interested in playing it. (Worked for me!) 2.) This was low budget so they could not afford to make more episodes and be more detailed. (I think adding more seasons with more detail would be great, and I'd watch). Based on what they had to offer, I still give it a (9) because each story pulled me in and I found myself rooting for each character's happiness and success and through those characters, we also get to know the heroine.

The music often gets stuck in my head and I think it set the mood for a story that revolves around the stars and the sky. The voices and voice acting definitely set up the personalities of the characters well and each character would not be the same without their own nuances in how they spoke. I gave the sound a (9) as well because of this.

I enjoyed the anime and overall I really liked it. I think it was a successful overview to get you ready for playing the game and it did a lot better to convey itself than most anime made from dating sims do. If you watched this first, you should gave no trouble walking into the game feeling like you already know the characters and, as I mentioned, I think that this may be the point of the show. My overall rating is an (8) because the show definitely wasn't perfect and had a lot of slow points for those who enjoy more fast paced and not so character based shows. But for someone like me who likes this kind of thing, I was happy.
