First off, this is heartbreaking. I finished this anime about 2 minutes ago and let me just say, my house ran out of tissues. I loved this anime because not only did it make me laugh and cry, it also allowed me to see how much of an effect an earthquake like this could impact the environment and people!

The plot for Tokyo Magnitude was fantastic. It could be very relate able at times especially when the two siblings got mad at each other. Usually, it would be Mirai scolding her younger brother and him being hurt, but he didn't say anything about that much. They meet Mari and hit it off and they seemed like a family. The story definitely kept you in suspense.

The art was very realistic when it came to the destruction that the earthquake brought. The characters were nicely drawn and fit somewhere in the middle of cartoon-y and anime-y, but in my opinion, that's the best place.

Even if you closed your eyes and kept on listening, I think you could definitely tell that an earthquake was occurring. All the other sounds were great too, when the characters were talking, when machines or robots were moving, anything to be honest.

Okay. The characters. Don't even get me started! They seemed so real and it felt as if I was best friends with them and knew every little detail about them. It was obvious that the creators thought about their personality really hard, and it showed.

The only, and I mean ONLY reason I gave enjoyment a 9 was because it made me so sad. This is definitely not a bad thing. I love sad anime (I don't know, I'm just weird like that okay?) and honestly, I feel like this is a great anime that plays with your feelings. Of course I enjoyed this anime, I mean, who couldn't?

Overall, I loved this anime. Of course, it made me sob as well as die inside a little, but I love it none the less. You should definitely give it a try and plus, if you don't like it, it's not very long anyways (which is a bummer).
