You are shown a bunch of kids in a swimming club with FEMALE voice actors playing their childhood voices, and one trait they share in common is that all of them have FEMALE like names.
This anime is a bromance? which almost steps over and becomes a homosexual anime but doesn't, and keeps itself to be alllll about swimming but you get some uncomfortable scenes (speaking as a heterosexual person) from time to time. There's a perverted girl that has an obsession to muscles.
This anime was pretty funny, if I ignore the stuff that makes me uncomfortable, then this is a pretty good anime. Obviously, this anime is catered more to females, it's more like a shoujo Boy's Love anime more than a sports anime (which I thought was about swimming), but nevertheless it was good.
There's quite a fair amount of comedy, lots of crying (the characters), and I suppose, touching moments (can't say I felt anything during the tear jerking feels portion of the anime). The art is nice, I liked the sound, but the story was a bit mediocre.
Overall, if you don't mind watching a slightly homosexual anime, and you're comfortable watching masculine males getting close together, all huggy buddy and bubbly together, then this might be a good anime to watch.
