You have a three persons who meet and man an awesome tank, the Edelweiss, to flee the invading army. Right then you figure that Edelweiss would be the center of this anime and it does carry on for many episodes as you follow the relationship with other troop members and some racism being crushed... then Valkyries appear and steal the spotlight, you can ignore other characters, they are useless for the rest of the anime. The game's mechanic is amazing, but I've stopped playing before I got to the revelation and doesn't even have the will to play from there.
