I've just finished watching this series, and I desperately needed to write a review. This is not your "usual" masterpiece: it's not Deathnote, or another anime that starts with a bang. First two episodes are good, but not "outstanding": they are slow, and they try to make you get into Rakugo plays - and they are really weird for a newcomer (if you don't know anything about, don't worry: I didn't know myself, and the show explains everything you need without being too much verbose). After those episodes, everything changes, and the story gets amazing more and more... you'll start loving Rakugo plays, and the amazing characters of the show (and their incredible seiyuus :).
A series that is way more than a simple "silent hit": it's a series that will be considered as a "niche" one, but instead is a rare masterpiece that will stick to your heart forever (something like Urusawa's Monster - if you know what I mean).
In the end: watch it, love it, and spread the word :)
