The good things about Super Lovers is that it had good animation and the music was pretty good. That's about it.
The story made no sense at all. It was rushed and the back stories didn't make sense.
The characters were bland and not much fun. I liked Ren, however, Haru is creepy (which I'll get to). You really didn't even need the brothers.
Here's what bothered me: Super Lovers tries to appear as a light-hearted anime when in reality, it's actually really dark.
The most concerning thing to me was the pairing. It's borderline pedophilia. Ren is 16 but looks like he's about 11 or 12. As shown in the anime, he had no knowledge whatsoever about sex and was shown to be immature for his age. Haru was basically grooming and manipulating him. Not to mention — they're adopted brothers! Come on, shouldn't your immature (physically and mentally), adopted brother that's 8 years younger than you be off limits? No one in the anime seems to care at all. Haru is a manipulative, creepy pedophile.
Overall, I really wanted to like this anime but I just couldn't. It left me feeling gross and creeped out. I don't recommend it.
