I'd say this anime is more suitable for student and older audience, they know what it's like to study and live in different city, living in a small flat, struggling with finances.
Characters are astonishing, each one has own strengths and weaknesses, they constantly get into troubles and deal with them in own way. We can easily relate to them, either by dealing with similar problems or sharing similar views on reality, the feel is like we shared memories with them.
This show reminded me of life: we grow, get educated, work, get married, etc, just like this TV show's characters. We share dreams with others to achieve a great success and become rich, but they get shattered and leave bitter taste of defeat.
While I was watching this anime, I thought about my life and what message should I take from this anime. So far I've understood that main message is to pull your mask off, living on lies is like building a tower of cards: one day it will collapse. By pulling mask off we're making a step towards dealing with reality, which was and will always remain cruel, and that's necessary if we want to succeed in this world. We all change as time passes, no matter how terrible situation is, step by step we can overwhelm it, otherwise we'll suffer defeat, blame others, start making conspiracies and run away from reality.
