as much as i'm a sluggathor for deconstructions (holla @evangelion @thegreatgatsby @lordoftheflies), why did we have to deconstruct the magical girls???? why?????? they just wanna have fun saving the world with friendship and love. regardless, this show is LIT, especially if you have no idea that it's a deconstruction (lmao whoops sorry dood). the first time something crazy happens (YOU'LL KNOW) you're just like ?? ? !? ?!!?!!? !?!!!! !!!! you might have to pause it! i'm pretty sure i watched the dub and it was neat. lowkey, by the end of it, you're just gonna be in love with the girl in the black & you're gonna be "holy moly is this a Real Live Lesbian in an Anime who isn't Sexualized????" the answer: yaeah. this show is just fun & keeps ya guessing! still have no idea what to do for sound. no one moans sexually, so i'm gonna give it a 10.
