Hundred (Anime) add (All reviews)

Story: 1/10
First of all, I’m giving a 1 because I think this has the potential to get better. The main problem with this anime is that… it actually doesn’t have a story. It just has a universe which is way too underdeveloped. I guess the only enjoyable part, for those who are into it, are the extremely cliché ecchi scenes (I personally don’t like it).
What I have to say is that the show feels like a big bunch of fillers in a bigger setting. It’s very painful to watch, especially the last episode since the ending is really disappointing to me. Nothing about the world is explained and the villain’s motivations are… questionable. Though it reveals that there may be a second season. However, it’s a light novel adaptation so we can’t know for sure I guess?

Art: 2/10
I really dislike the art style but it’s personal tastes. It’s generic and feels kind of old school but in a bad way. At least they didn’t try to throw in some CGI and the fight scenes were decent. The backgrounds didn’t strike me as beautiful either.
I didn’t like a lot of the character designs too, though they are at least really different from one another so there’s effort here.

Sound: 3/10
There are some songs as one of the characters is a singer. I don’t really like these songs but the singer has a pretty voice so it’s ok. Other than that, I can’t say any track of the soundtrack really stuck in my head, I barely noticed any of them.
Voice acting is okay but I can remember some times where it didn’t match the animation.

Characters: 5/10
I didn’t feel no hatred for any of the characters but no love either. The MC is a typical get-stronger shounen hero and his harem is a bunch of cliché girls thrown together. I feel like the girls didn’t have real interactions between one another, except for two of them, so they just felt kind of dumb. They also don’t change throughout the series.
As I said earlier, the villain’s motivation is questionable and it actually reduced my overall enjoyment by at least one point. This is what made the show feel useless.
What I like about this harem anime is that the MC actually choses a girl at the end: this felt very satisfying!

Enjoyment: 4/10
I knew this show was bad since the first 2 episodes but continued to watch it anyway because at least, it was funny because the clichés were so laughable.

Overall rating: 4/10
I really don’t recommend it to anyone since it doesn’t bring anything new and can be very boring at times.
