Well well well. You're here to read a review? Well then, you found your review. Anyway, lets get to the point. Walkure Romanze is an anime about the love of jousting. The main character is a squire (an assistant to the knight [who is the one jousting]) and an annoying one too. basically, a bunch of girls ask him to be their squire and he's all like,"(stupid look on face) um...... can i tell you later?" he reminds me of Negi from Negima?! When a bunch of girls tell Negi they love him, but he's all like, "(stupid look on face, just like main character from Walkure) erm..... can i tell you after you graduate?"
A good part of this anime are that at least the girls are hot- i mean, the GRAPHICS of the show are SO GOOD. I MEAN, HIGH DEFINITION GOOD!
Another more serious good thing about Walkure is that the comedy is pretty good. You may say,"Well, it varies by person" like a regular smart as- i mean, like an intelligent person. I think the comedy side is good because of the jokes and how dense the main character is, which is another problem i have with him (although sometimes how dense he is is hilarious).
Now, to what i liked about the show the most, and what i disliked the most
I liked how engaging the matches on last ep. could get you. I found myself sitting on the edge of my seat screaming (in my head of course) "WHOEVER IS IN FINAL MATCH WIN! I'M NOT SAYING THEIR NAME BECAUSE OF SPOILERS!" because i found jousting enjoyable in this anime.
What i hated about this anime........was the story. Like, they never explain why the main character doesn't want to let down another person. they only show the MC falling off a horse in his armor, and then a guy with blonde hair standing over him with a frown on his face. They never describe the slightest of what he was doing there or why the guy was sad that MC lost. They go like,"Okay here's a flashback, OOPS! LOL NO EXPLANATION FOR YOU LOL!" They also don't explain how the girl with the brown hair's (on cover of anime) sister. Is in some-type-of-transportation-that-totally-isnt-a-wheelchair. they only show the girl's sister yelling out her name,"MIREILLE (or however you spell it.)" and then the girl's dad, lets just say, doesnt have a good opinion on jousting. They don't explain any of this by words. Only small, three-second flashbacks.
Overall, it was kinda good but not an anime i would recommend to a friend unless they like watching RomHarComs (Romantic Harem Comedies). That earned it a seven.
