Story (9/10):
If you're wondering why my ratings for the second season is lower than the first, it truly is bias. First to start off, it took Slice of Life and some how twisted it to Fantasy. It really made me mad that they had inserted a new genre into this anime in order to make a "happy ending." Of course I'm happy for the "happy ending" but I didn't want it to have to end like this; magical... Everything but that the story line was great. It made me cry at certain times. It even feature events after Highschool for Tomoya.
Art (9/10):
Why do I even have to rate art. Unless you want the male/female lead to be extremely hot and sexy, what was the point of rating. But all in all, the art had an improvement from the previous season. It actually conveys the character's mood incredibly better. Sad times look like "sad times" now. HURRAY. Now I feel sad. -.-"
Sound (8/10):
No improvement in the second season. But the first episode scared me with the sound effects. Which impressed me. The ball almost hit my eye... or anything else special. Don't think to hard. *cough* I'm a guy.
Character (10/10):
Same characters. Some changed. Some didn't? Yeah some didn't but these characters, I can't imagine if they did change... For sure the main characters, Tomoya and Nagisa, changed dramatically.
Enjoyment (10/10):
The first time I saw this it felt like the old Clannad! I was so happy to see this and I told myself, "I won't cry this time!" Too bad I lied to myself. Shame on me! It was such a moving anime. There was a load of symbolism and foreshadowing that hint what would happen. I kept looking for them and soon enough I found them! I used the symbols and hints the author gave me to predict the end and it worked! It was such a great anime but... Naw just kidding there are no "buts." It was just great...
