When I originally read the synopsis I thought it would be interesting. Sadly it was a let down. You can see this from the get-go but, I choose to endure thinking it would redeem itself. While it does get better it is only a little and it is in the last 3 episodes.

The story itself is summed up in the phrase "dating game" where you have to make a choice otherwise you won't be able to proceed with the story. The issue here is that the choices are so absurd that they're trying too hard to be funny. Eventually the choices begin to make more sense or have more of a 'realistic' choice to them but, it was so late in the game that it didn't really save the show.

The art was standard for its time and still holds up till today. You can see some short cuts they take but, otherwise it won't hurt your eyes to look at.

The sound is a bit lacking as you will hear repeating effects and of course "CHOOSE" so many times that it just gets to be annoying.

Given the story the characters suffer- you have the classic troupes of Crazy, Lovable Idiot, Can't Speak her Mind, and Onee-chan. The development of these characters were almost non-existent, at one point they were developing the character of one of the main leads but, it eventually got dropped for a sad attempt of humor. At the end the characters are where they started without any difference except for 'its now a harem'.

The comedy in this show is pretty dry leaving me wanting the entire time. The best of it comes from the side characters of a girl who acts as her 'royal guard'. Every time they were on the screen I was laughing. Otherwise it was pretty droll and I was just waiting for something to happen.
