No.6 (Anime) add (All reviews)

Story: As far as the plot goes, it is definitely interesting but I also felt as though it was lacking detail. There was backstory of course, but you aren't really sure what the history is or what kind of world it is set in. There seems to be some fantasy elements, but it is also very sci-fi esque with the dystopian future setting. It also feels a little rushed because of how few episodes there are. It seems like they could have done with more episodes and more detail. However it is still really interesting, and the character development is compelling. Nezumi and Shion's relationship is so interesting. Honestly, I found the character development more interesting than the overall plot, in a good way.
Art: Pretty good, not as detailed at I would like, but still there are some great scenes.
Sound: The song that reoccurs throughout the anime is really good, and the intro and outro song are nice too
Character: Like I said, the character development is really interesting in this. The relationship between the two protagonists is really good, and watching two people realize they care about each other deeply is nice. It is a realistic portrayal of romance and friendship and how the two intersect, without going over the top. I do wish we saw more background on Nezumi, as we know Shion's whole story. At least some more flashbacks to young Nezumi.
Enjoyment: I really did enjoy this I was pleasantly surprised with where the story went and how the characters grew. Towards the end it was very emotional, and I definitely shed a few tears. I appreciate an anime that can draw an emotional response like that, even in such a short time.
Overall: Like I said, the plot could have been more detailed, but as a whole this was enjoyable and I would recommend checking it out.
