not to say that I didn't like it, however the plot was very original, only dragged down by what I see to be some of many "clichés". Including:
•the forgiveness of an unspeakable act due to romantic connection
•falling in love with the protagonist because of some event during their youth, whilst the protagonist himself does not feel the same way in return. I personally cringe at this one.
•the main theme is very well chosen but is overplayed and doesn't carry enough variation as the anime progresses which is a downside. probably due to limited funding?
•they forgot to deliver a backstory to WHY and HOW the things that happen in this anime are ACTUALLY happening (just like boku dake na inai machi forgets to elaborate on Satoru's Godly ability)
good points:
•original plot and concept
• good emotional 'tug' if you're looking for one'
•has a "feel-good" ending.. for the main characters
