Personally, I like to start a show knowing nothing about it. Most people would read the synopsis but I don't (well sometime I do XD) and when I started watching the anime I was surprised and I wondered "how the hell can you make an anime interesting if it's about story telling?" so I dropped it after the first episode when it was still airing and when the series finished I had nothing to watch so I picked it up again and boy was I surprised the series somehow make it interesting till the end and GOD the story are characters are good.
Story - 10

Well personally I would give it a 9.4 but I rounded it to 10 because 9 is not quite enough for this amazing piece of entertainment the story is well paced and not repetitive unlike my initial thought, the story will become very interesting at around episode 3-4 but don't skip the beginning even if it's a tad bit boring because there is lot of useful information about the art of "Rakugo" there is not much to say about the story without ctrl+v the synopsis.
Art/Animation - 7
One of the big downside of the anime is the art but in no mean is it bad it's just lacking of style it's very generic, the character design is good the only bad thing is the animation it's decent at best the could've been a lot better it sometimes feels very choppy.
Sound - 8
Sound is very good the op is to be desired I just skip it because it's not good
and the ending also is not great (I just skip them both) the ost is great lot's of edo era music pieces.
Character - 10
Every character is unique and you will develop feeling and empathy with them, there are no very generic character apart from one wich I won't mention because this is a spoiler free review.
Enjoyement - 9
This anime was a good surprised and definitely my top pick for this season I would recommend to watch and even read the manga + season is coming and I'am very hyped.
