I have to pretty much agree with everyone who wrote a review on this anime. I never really do this BUT i MUST! the reason why i say this is because like the warnings of the other reviewers BE PATIENT. the first 20 episodes did kind of drag and made me loose interest. I previously attempted to watch this series three times and i stopped at episode 3-4. But once episode 20 hits BOY OH BOY ARE YOU IN FOR A RIDE! I completed this series in 7 days because iT WAS THAT GOOD. I'm sure there are others out there who are like myself and just get so absorbed that you do absolutely nothing but watch anime. WELL THIS IS IT.
The story line is awesome! I mean come on guys, mafia+weapons+funny characters=awesomeness!
It was so intriguing I never experienced this kind of anime in a long time. I feel like the last time i felt hooked was one piece and history strongest disciple kenichi! I loved how the main characters demonstrates true friendship bonds for one another regardless of their age. For instance there is a cow thats pretty much five years old and he is some how related to the mafia! It's hilarious i tell you!
The art was great! I enjoyed it because the style gave the characters life and it was really "chill" art. When i say chill i mean the drawings were easy to look at and i feel that the simplest drawings can produce great meaning and emphasis on its subject. To clearify, one of the main characters name is Reborn and he's this little baby looking guy. But the way the drawings are it gave him SO MUCH character and he is quite the funny one! I also enjoyed how when the anime had it's serious moments the drawings kinda got darker and edgier so it gave it that serious feeling more than the typical "chill" moments.
Sound-music is awesome espeically the openings! The characters voices suits each of them well and there really not annoying. At first i was like OH MAN WHAT IS THIS BABY?! BUT you adapt and learn to lvoe them!
I just feel like i'll be repeating myself over and over again. All i'm saying to you die heart anime fans that loves humor, have it's serious moments, and love main characters that are willing to die for one another because of their bonds of friendship. Then please i beg of you, watch this anime. It was well worth my seven days!!!!!!!
