It was the best decision I've ever made regarding an anime choice.
The quiet little town of Hinamizawa........peaceful, serene, kind neighbors......it just seemed too good to be true.
And it was.
The moment pieces of the mystery were introduced, I became hooked. The way it is delivered is with such force that you can't help but pay attention, only to come to the conclusion that maybe, just maybe, the scenario never really existed in the first place. A creepy conclusion, but that's exactly what you'll think when you try to figure out this anime.
My advice? Go see it for yourselves, and see if you can solve the mysteries of Hinamizawa.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni the anime is adapted from the visual novel, but the anime also has some answer arcs mixed in with the first season. The second season, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, includes all the answers to the mysteries presented in the first season.
