Story 10/10
Story is an amazing look at child soldiers and wealth inequality, no only does it show the story of the protagonist effectively but it also shows the main antagonist Gjallarhorn side very well.
From the bonds of the Warriors too the outsiders view on how these kids are acting in these situations everything is written and told very smoothly and well. I also found the fights to be very well done in terms of story based fighting (Not too flashy and prolonged but just the right amount of time).
Art and Sound 7/10
Mixing these together solely because there was nothing special about them, they were on average for what was put out its season with smooth animation but alas it was still normal.
Characters 10/10
I have never seen a show in which i was enticed by more than two characters stories. Around eight of the characters had exceptional dialogue, background stories, and interactions in the show, with many more being above average.
Mikazuki Is without a doubt one of the best characters I have seen in a anime. The balance between the Cold blooded killer to Bratty Brother to Protector is outstanding. He has very powerful emotional scenes which he most of the time he aimlessly falls into. At the base he is a typical shonen protagonist with his accomplished fighting and idiotic characteristics, but once serious stuff starts happening you start too see that he is soo much more than that.
Orga is forever battling with himself as the Leader of Tekkadan, and the promise he made to Mikazuki and the rest of his comrades. Even though he is written as a typical Empathetic Military Leader who knows he has to order people to their deaths, He is still a Teenager and has to battle back his Ambitions for the better of Tekkadan.
Enjoyment 10/10
This is a fun show i mean its Mecha, its witty, it has a plethora of funny kids, it has Great battles, and in its dark moments the thrill is in full effect.
Overall 10/10
Cannot wait to get some more of this anime
