Okay, our main character lives all by his lonesome. And due to basically hating the outside world, he spends most of his time reading manga, watching anime, and playing video games. He's what most people would rightly identify as an otaku. One day he opens up a file, and finds a lot of strange images in them...And then those images turn out out be real. Throw in a girl who isn't who she says she is, his own delusions messing with him, and him loosing memories constantly and you'd think you'd have the recipe for an awesome anime!
However I felt that the story continuously dragged on with no sign of pay off. Which, of course, is rather subjective. But when you keep building up tension and giving more characters, more clues, and I'm almost done with the anime and nothing is actually 'accomplished' I feel cheated. Don't get me wrong, some things can and will be told/figured out, but if I'm on episode 8 and I feel like this anime needs to drag on for an extra ten episodes, you've done something wrong.
That is why I dropped this anime. I really didn't want to feel like I rushed something, when the anime was complete, and at the same time I didn't want an unsatisfying ending.
