This is personally one of my favourite manga. Despite the concept that could have so easily sunken the work due to stereotypical themes, it is written extremely well. The art is very aesthetically pleasing, and the humor is something almost anyone can enjoy. The characters are made to be realistic, despite the plot being far-fetched. Aki has clear faults, but is unapologetic for them. He can be incredibly selfish, and not just when vying for his lover's time, as is so common. All the characters are easy to relate to in some way, shape, or form, and this is something so often said about manga that is so rarely actually achieved. This manga is not just a good 'yaoi' manga, it is a great manga for anyone (of a mature enough age) to appreciate.
