SPOILER-FREE AND SHORT REVIEW BY Jural-SEZ

Is Clannad After Story really good? Anyone may consider Clannad After Story to be like any average slice of life anime. Many would even think that Clannad After Story is overrated. Not exaggerating here, but Clannad After Story at the very least deserves to be on the top 10. Here's why:

Story: (10)

Clannad After Story is basically about anyone's typical life: a life filled with enjoyment, sadness, pains and sufferings. The whole plot revolves on different problems and conflicts among friends, family, and life in the future. While this seems to be just like any other anime with genres similar to what it has, Clannad After Story is just different. Often times there are funny moments and often times there are just really really emotional ones. Funny moments were really funny. Sad moments were sad; I actually cried like 4 times until I've finally finished the whole anime. Words alone can not describe how the story is simply outstanding.

Art: (10)

Nothing more to say, except that the characters, the background, and the overall lay-out of the anime is gorgeous.

Sound: (10)

I liked 90% of the overall OST of Clannad After Story. The OST used, especially in dramatic scenes really capture people's hearts.

Character: (10)

Every personality and anything that makes the wholeness of every character from the previous season is fully developed in Clannad After Story. The anime guarantees the fully-developed characters, leaving people with no questions on the personality or anything that has something to do with the characters.

Enjoyment: (10)

I enjoyed the whole anime, from the first episode down to the last one. Everything was filled with enjoyment (although some episodes are just emotional I kept on crying while watching them. No scenes bored me, as every scene is essential in guaranteeing the completeness of the anime.

Overall: (10)

Clannad After Story, if not the best, is simply one of the best animes out there. It is one anime that gives you the impression how the relationships among friends and families are valuable. It presents the reality of life, a life filled with enjoyments, pains, sufferings, sadness.
