I really like the art thought I can't really explain why.
I had fun watching the anime mainly because it's one where each time there's a fight, there's absolutly no questionning who's gonna win.
It is made in such a way that there's never anything unexpected happening, until the last episode where there's a big turnaround which is even greater that he is completly unexpected.
So I would say that the episodes are all very enjoyable and that the last one is a very good conclusion.
Thought I have mixed feeling about the last episode, because while it's totally epic, some reactions of the main character are strange to me, and even if I have ways of explaining them, I was a little disappointed. Still this last episode is the best of the anime and a good conclusion, thought a little confusing.
It's quite difficult to say what's the message of the anime as it deals with a lot of subjects, for example the history, the definition of a human being, the reason to live etc... The characters will have to find answers to various questions, and the achievements of one episode will often be questionned in the next.
So a fairly good anime to watch, maybe to watch again. If you watch it, take some time to think about it's message after watching it.
