When Takaki finds out that his family is also moving, he decides to meet with Akari one last time so to me that was the coolest part of the movie because it was full with emotions and excitement that destiny decided to gather'em for one last time wholeheartedly in a scene that takes our hears and that was all in the episode one "Cherry Blossom"
In the 2nd episode thing changed up and the story took another line because of the third party , and by the third party i mean Sumida, Kanae which happened also that she falls in love with Toono Takaki on the first sight , the story continues and yet Sumida didn't confess to takaki for her feelings toward him till the day she realized that she can't do what makes him happy or something like that ( sorry i'm just not familiar with love stories ) xD
And with the final part , eventually things goes down unfortunately this story has no happy ending and that was unexpected to the viewers so every one moved on with his life, Tokaki suffered in silence
the whole time while Akari was preparing for her wedding with another guy and everything got twisted
Frankly, the story gives that unique first impression from the first sight and regardless the ending of it that was tragic .This inevitably tragic story portrays perfectly how reality marches ever onward, heedless of peoples hopes and dreams, and how happiness is always just out of reach.the graphics on the movie is what most i like, it has lots of great views and cool image quality that it feels so real
As a conclusion generally the movies is fine and it's one of the highest rated animes in MAL so if you are reading this i highly recommend you to watch it before you die because this one is basically hard to find such a wonderful anime like 5 Centimeters Per Second, it has a great message of sadness , sorrow and heartbreaking with deep emotions from real tragicall story
