So first thing you need to know- This season is an emotional roller coaster and if you get into anime like I do you will be screaming at the screen for about 5 episodes straight. (episodes 2-7 to be exact).
Second thing you need to know- It is definitely worth it. The last few episode are great and honestly looking in retrospect the writers of the anime did a great job purposefully giving me heartburn for the first half because that is the way you are supposed to feel. They had all of the character development they needed in the first season to really attach you to the characters and this season drags you in so far using that that you might forget that this is an anime temporarily as the people of your house wonder why you are screeching then suddenly very quite as they hear light sobs coming from your room.
Ok so maybe that is a slight exaggeration, but its not too far off. If you like anime that can touch each one of your emotions just by being a good story then this is what you are looking for.
Now I'll go through my ratings
Story 9: Everything I said above goes here
Art 7: Its a little outdated and omg the sparkles but it actually brings a good overall feel to the anime and suits it well.
Sound 8: As you watch remember its the little things that count. A bell here, soft music there, a short breath, they really pull you in and you have to pay attention to notice it. And of course the OP and ED are awesome.
Character: Sawako is one of my fav MC's. She is precious and innocent and good natured through and through. The whole cast is enjoyable, even Joe and Pin (those idiots... you'll understand when you watch it. Honestly the only one I don't give top marks is Kazehaya. I mean Sawako is dense because she doesn't understand how things work but Kazehaya has no excuse that DENSE PIECE OF.... Once again you need to watch it.
Enjoyment 8: I would give it a 9 but the heartburn was real....
Overall 9: Something I would recommend to any anime fan, seasoned or no.
