I was really excited for this anime and actually enjoyed it for a while. After the abduction, the enjoyment ended. It was like watching someone try to fit their entire wardrobe into one carry on suitcase and failing immensely.
The story was so hard to follow that it was impossible for me to enjoy it. Near the end when the time capsule/travel or whatever started happening, I couldn't stop laughing. It was so awful. I had to watch those last few episodes to fully understand them. Even then I didn't have a clue. I seriously think that they couldn't make up their mind and tried to fit everything in.
The art was good. Not too bad, not drop dead gorgeous though. I gave the art a seven just because their are some pretty cool shots and scenes that deserve some mention.
I loved all the music. The openings and endings were awesome and worth enough not to skip.
The characters were actually really good and I loved them all. Although, some of the characters got a little annoying. Not just because of the character themselves but because of the writing as well. I thought they were worth a rating of seven though.
I didn't enjoy this anime that much when I got to the middle. I don't know exactly what episode but I got really irritated by the crowded story line. If it weren't for the story, I think I would've liked this anime a lot more and rated it a lot higher.
Overall I gave this anime a four. I can see how some people can enjoy this anime and give it a much higher score like a 9 or whatever but in my opinion, it was only worth a four. Maybe even a three.
