Preliminary (6/56 chp)
I've only read the first 6 chapters of this, because that's all I could find, but it's a really engrossing and suspenseful story and I'm almost frantic for the next chapter. I feel like it needs some support on MAL.
The plot starts with a wild, out of control high school boy, Yeon-Ho, who gets into physical fights a lot, these two other guys who are searching for him but don't know who he is because the rest of the student body is too scared of Yeon-Ho to tell them. Then there is this high school girl, Young-Un who is very popular with guys, and has had lots of boyfriends. We first see her breaking up with her latest boyfriend, and we get a false impression of her that's quickly revealed to be slightly off. This makes her character more 3-dimensional than it otherwise would be and levels the field between her and the mystery surrounding Yeon-Ho, and she actually turns out to be a strong and intuitive, smart person (rare in shoujo). She helps him and then he helps her and they become sort of entangled. She realizes quickly how alone this kid is and that he doesn't seem like he has anyone he can depend on. Everything in this story is not rose-colored, and romance is not at the forefront of the action. Somehow, these two people get involved with each other and every time it seems like they are going to drift away from each other, events conspire to throw them together again. It's a compelling read and totally worth your time.
The premise may seem like a classic shoujo type plot but the interactions between the high school characters are a lot more nuanced than other shoujo. Earlier I called the story suspenseful, but it's almost more like the way the story is told is what is really suspenseful. There are mysterious backstories that are only revealed through certain interactions with characters. We meet and see and are regularly reminded of the characters' parents. This is rare and I think should be valued. Updates are sadly not frequent but I think that this is the type of manwha that will gather a larger following later on. The art is clean and conveys emotion with bold dark lines and high contrast for intensity alternating with light greys for delicacy. The artwork actually shows more of an appropriate variation and mirroring of the action it conveys than many other mangas I've read, where it seems like the story planning, drawing, and actually dialogue seem to have been written or planned at different times.

Overall, I totally recommend this to anyone! You should read it!
