Review:
Chrome Shelled Regios was described to me as a diamond in the rough and that I should give it a shot. Let's start with the intro. The intro in my opinion fit the anime but the song itself wasn't that good. The animation was well done for the anime. Next is the characters. The MC confused me throughout the anime. I just couldn't get a feel for him. Was he supposed to be the cold, dark kinda character (for example Shiba Tatsuya) or was he supposed to be the OP but light hearted character (for example Kirito). Never the less he was a very bland character who was so over powered that every fight wasn't worth watching because you know he is going to win. That being said the MC being as overpowered as he was made the side characters worthless. Every side character either got in his way or got the MC hurt because they were good for nothing. The story was really interesting but everything else just killed it for me. All in all I would say that Chrome Shelled Regios wasn't a Diamond in the rough but more like a needle in the haystack because once you spend you're time on it and find it you're like yep that was pretty pointless.
