No interesting characters. Boring fights. Retarded shounen-like plot: there is a crying pussy prince and there is his bodyguard. Actually, most good shounens have much more interesting stories. Typical "ancient Asia" atmosphere: rice fields, tea ceremonies and all that crap we have seen thousands of times (ofc ordinary villagers have brand new clothes and modern age houses). Omg, nobody gives a shit about this "ancient Asia" culture; medieval Europe, for example, is much more interesting.
Apparently, this anime tries to be "deep". But it's not. All characters seem to be emotionless robots, include the main hero. If you like staring at rice fields and tea ceremonies all the time go for it. Just don't expect to find something "deep" or philosophical because this anime is just another shitty samurai action animation. We don't see here drama, we don't see here comedy, we don't see here tragedy. Actually, we don't see any strong emotions at all.
Art is pretty good. Music is fine.
