The story of this anime is lacking. I'm sorry. I'm going to say it. It's cliche, repetitive, and predictable. However, at the same time, it's somehow intriguing in a way I can't explain.
Also, Kenichi was bullied as a kid but we don't really get to see any of that. It kinda stunk.

There's nothing wrong with the animation but nothing that special about it either so I'm giving it a 7.
Sound: 7
I really felt like giving this an 8 but I stuck with a 7 because so many more animes have a better soundtrack. But I liked the music. It fit.
Character: 6
There isn't much strong character development, so I'm giving it a 6. Obviously Kenichi changed but I don't feel as it should get a higher rating. I dunno. I'm sticking with a 6.
Enjoyment: 8
I enjoyed it. Watching it, I strengthened my own skill as a martial artist as well as enjoyed some of the funny scenes. I really liked this anime and I have rewatched it (all 50 eps) ten times. I don't really know what's so great about it, but I enjoy it.
It is funny. It has awesome fights. I like it and you should see it.
