ok, for starters, do not watch this anime if you have not seen Higurashi no naku koro ni, kai, and rei. IT IS A MUST that you watch those to understand what is actually happening in umineko no naku koro ni, or else you will be in a WTF moment. Some similar characters are introduced in Umineko compared to Higurashi, but they are not exactly the same people. It gets really confusing and mysterious, and you have to bare with it until the end. There is this never ending cycle of death in these animes, and you will wonder why, but later on, it will be explained why these conflicts are happening; actually, it will pull you in, and it will make you wonder. This anime is really a wonderful anime and I gave a 10/10 :)
