Assassination Classroom isn't perfect nor close to a masterpiece.

The story starts of with Koro-sensei (Not his real name), chops the moon down to a permanent crescent. He then became a teacher at Kunugigaoka Middle School's Class 3-E, because he wanted to. The students on that section were assigned to kill this mysterious creature and they will be awarded TEN BILLION YEN. However, the mysterious creature is simply indestructible (Or is it?). By the time they graduate, Koro-sensei will destroy planet Earth (Or will he?)

Although the story sounds engaging, don't get too engaged. Koro-sensei isn't really much of a villain on the story. He acts good towards his students and teaches them what is right. The reason why I only gave the story a 7/10 is because I don't see where it is going. This season didn't even give a lot of answers surrounding Koro-sensei. I guess we'll just have to wait for Season 2.

I thought the animation is amazing. The coloring of it and the fight scenes are pretty great. For the soundtrack, it's pretty good. It has it's ups and downs. There are some soundtrack that are good while some are decent. For the opening, I prefer the second opening over the first. In fact, the second opening is probably one of my favorite openings this year (Not kidding). Am I the only one? For the ending theme, it's really good. I can feel the emotion on how far we've been on a journey with Koro-sensei.

There are characters worth remembering (Aside from Koro-sensei) on this story like Nagisa (the trap), Karma, Karasuma, and Bitch-sensei (And probably others that I forgot to mention). They offer humor that makes me laugh. However, I do feel like the anime adds too much cast, that I feel like someone is left out. I can only remember some of the character's names and faces while some, I only remember the face, but not the name. By the way, I am talking about the characters in Class 3-E. Not the villains/assassins that appear throughout the show. I wish the anime pulled of something that makes the entire class memorable. Another flaw is Koro-sensei alone. He has a bland characterization, but I do feel like he's just another troll of the story. I don't think he is going to blow up planet Earth.

I enjoyed the show's story especially the end of Season 1. I have no problems with it. Though, for it's humor, it's mix. There are some that I laughed hard, while some parts of this show doesn't make me laugh. Overall, if you're looking for a comedy/action anime, this could be it. Looking forward to Season 2.
