Well to be pretty honest when I saw the title I thought it would be another romantic storyline hanging around dance stuff just like Nodame Cantible so I just rejected it. But my attention caught the description!!!!
Sket Dance is totally different from what its title means. It is actually a school club whose motive is to help someone who is in trouble. Well trouble can be of any type physical mental or social!!
Its like any trouble Just call "SKET-DAN'"!
STORY- 10
Well every episode folds out a new situation new problem and our helpers will find out the best possible solution to it. Along this we have hilarious comments, jokes its like you will laugh out loud again and again. And the timing for a joke is just perfect (actually there are some episodes where you will laugh like crazy throughout)
Along with all these elements there are some Super cannon episodes which talks about the past lives of our Main Characters and how they come up with the idea of forming this club and there are some useless fillers with it (but the laughter element never diminishes). it is full of comedy, slice of life, brainy things, little romance and most of motivation here and there! The jokes are still as hilarious after rewatching as they were before. XD
CHARACTER - 9
Along with our main character we have numerous side characters each having unique importance impression and ability to make you laugh!!!
Bossun is the protagonist. He is a bit childish but when he becomes serious, when in focus mode he is a genius. He is multi-talented. He is good in drawing, origami and makes the most hilarious face expressions!
Himeko is another character . She is a blonde, despite a female she is far from delicate , very strong and can pulverise anyone with her hockey stick. She has somewhat wife and mother like qualities and along with bossun form a perfect duo with their hilarious jokes!
Then comes Switch, well this character is absolutely unique. He is handsome, tall and talks using voice of his computer!! He is good in making apt jokes at right time. He has a lot common with Bossun when it comes to toys manga and girls!!!!
ANIMATION - 8
Well this is the only thing that i didn't like about this anime that is its average animation!! It's not that the characters are not well drawn and don't worry the animation is not like Naruto and Dragon Ball Z !. Still that won't bother you as the story is very smooth and meaningful.
ENJOYMENT - 10
I don't remember that i laughed so much after watching an anime!!! You won't get bored even in the fillers!!! To be honest the jokes get better and better as you move on with the story.
OVERALL - 9
Well to sum up I would say it is very interesting anime with loads of laughter and belly aching jokes! There is everything you want in this anime ! Comedy, Seriousness, High school life, and even good lessons to be learnt!!! :p
Damn can't think of witty reason to dislike it !!!!!!!!
