Fate/Stay night was interesting indeed. Although at times I thought it was moving a little too slow, it remained interesting enough for me to continue watching it. This focuses a lot on Sabre, who is an epic hero. It focuses on her past and the relationship between her and the main protagonist. One thing I must say about this series is that the soundtrack is horrible. I swear I found it annoying. Of course many would say not to watch this and watched the new alternative story better since the art is excellent and this is crap compared to it. While I won't disagree, if you decide to go into the Fate franchise, I recommend watching this before the UNLIMITED BLADEWORKS, and not the other way around. This will give you a nice taste of what it's all about then when you watch UNLIMITED BLADEWORKS, you will get the entire entree. If you feel like you don't like it from the start, then just drop it and watch the alternative.

I personally like the use of Epic Heroes in this anime because it utilizes hero from stories of the past and incorporates their legends. If you're into stuff like King Arthur, Hercules and others, watch this.
