Spoiler
Hello Everyone.

First of all i wanna tell you that this is my first review ever made on myanimelist so i hope you will bear with me on this one.

I looked through alot of the previouse reviews and i really couldent understand that everyone has rated this show so bad, i feel like this is one of the shows that really had something new to offer in the tons of anime we anime fans watch on a daily basis and i didnt agree at all with the bad reviews this show got, thus i made the commitment to watch the show for the third time and give it a decent review.

As for story i really was intrigued all through most of the anime, it has a certain way to tell us stuff, sometimes in the scenery, sometimes in the base of a specific quote, but everything was important for the bigger picture. One thing i liked alot is the use of the weather/snow to express sadness. Or pictures corelating with music to explain a certain kind of athmosphere. This ofcourse helped to tell the bigger story in this anime. There was some episodes set up to tell us specific things before something big happened, this i think is really important and a nessesity to build up for something important and this is used throughout all shows. I will give the story a big 10 because there was never an episode or a minute i felt that this was boring i was always intrigued by some kind of story telling wich i find to be important and also there was a sense of uniqueness, i have never seen an anime being able to tell a story with the use of symbols and culture clash as this anime.

Art:
For anime Art is very important as anime shows is based on this, here i can tell that the arts of the show is uniquely beatifull in all aspects and is used to describe alot of the story, i love the setting of the art cause its tells us of the athmostphere wich is for me an important thing and it is used quite alot throughout the season. In one instance its used to make the little girl disapear in the dust wich i find quite cool, also together with the music its just an all out good corelation, to depicture certain vibes the viewer gets. Even thou im seeing this episode for the 3rd time im still seeing alot of symbols depicted in the art of the show this is what i really apreciate and forces me to give it 10.

Character:
i find the Characters the most important aspect and this aspect is the main reason why i watch alot of anime, as i love characters that has certain uniqueness. Kaneki Ken is the main character and i love that the author is holding information regarding him hidden, this is a very important thing to do cause it gives the viewer the freedom to think of the actions he does. We typically think why does he do this and try to set explanations to it. another thing i like about Kaneki Ken is that he is flawed, he is not the all around good guy wich we see in most boring animes he is very flawed. I also like the interrelationship he has with both Hinami and Touka. all in all a cool 10 here.

Enjoyment:
As enjoyment for me is very hard to describe i would rather look at symbols, cause this season really has alot of em and its not depictured here as a rating wich i find pretty sad. in Tokyo Ghoul Root A we have alot of em:
The anime tends to use scenarios to express certain feelings like crows flogging around an area or snow dripping sadly from the skies. Or Touka telling Hinami she doesnt wanna talk about Kaneki Ken, cause its too hard for her emotions to talk about it(she would rather shut her feelings up by ignoring it) I really love this cause its how many people would address the situation you would rather hold up the sadness instead of letting it all out and look weak, especially in front of a younger person.

Overall:
The author of this manga is defo one of the best writers i have read, (yes i read the manga too) From the creation of the universe, the good vs bad setup(there are no good or bad^^). The culture clash with Kaneki-Ken stuck in the middle in a world he doesnt understand or know. The Author really knows how to setup symbols that the reader needs to catch in order for the story to make sense. This is not the story were everything is about the happy ending and i really like that, it is unique in the sense that this is about a world were both parties are in the wrong, they hate each other and cant corelate because of the basic needs of one party is to kill the other. So how do you make peace with two parties where one of the parties has to kill the other in order to survive? This is really a hard and difficult question the auther gives us. and having Kaneki-Ken in the middle of all of this really is entertaining and unique as hell.

Btw a little spoiler alert i think:
Since some of you might have caught it too i think the little red girl is the author of the book Kaneki and Hinami reads ^^
This is based on the legwork of them both and the weird smile they both have, as sayd everything is important in this story ^^

so ofcourse the overall rate of the show is 10 ;)
Hope you enjoyed the review, have fun everyone!
