Wow. This show made me feel a slew of emotions, some of which were never prodded by other shows. I smiled and cried throughout this season of Clannad, which can only be described as "spectacular". My one warning is that it will make you cry as long as you watched the first season, pay attention as you watch, and aren't sadistic. So, here is how I feel about this show.

Story: 8/10
This show's story is not what made everyone love the show. While most of the plot was not obvious, a few parts were rather predictable and somewhat changed the mood. However, the story is not what affected my emotions the most; it is not the most important aspect of this kind of show. The biggest issue was the two different stories that converged. While they did a marvelous job of making the end work out, I personally did not enjoy those cutscenes in the middle of the show, as they did seem a little irrelevant.

Art: 10/10
The most prominent part about this show was the art. Stunning animations brought this show to life. As mentioned, the second story was a unique aspect of Clannad: Afterstory. I feel that those cutscenes were where the pinnacle of the show's animations came out. Furthermore, they did a wonderful job of portraying the characters' emotions throughout the show, as that did give me feel-attacks.

Sound: 8/10
I did not pay much attention to the sound in this show. Yes, it had good soundtracks, but it just did not stand out enough to leave an impression on me, despite its quality. I have not much to say, but I feel that the sound was quite good, just that there wasn't enough emphasis.

Character: 10/10
This is the main reason that people cry in this show. The character development is so well thought out that you almost have to get attached to the protagonists. You can almost feel their emotions as the show moves forward, and that is why this show is so f***ing good.

Enjoyment: 10/10
The ultimate feels trip of my life. Masterfully crafted show, and I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. I had almost no issues with the show's different aspects because I was not focused on that, but was busy crying my eyes out and drenching my pillow.

Overall: 10/10
A must watch for everyone. Some people do not like it, and I can understand why. However, please do try the first season, and if you absolutely hate it, then you have an excuse for why you have not watched this. Otherwise, just watch and cry.

This show is not recommended for anyone sadistic or anyone that cannot focus for more than 10 minutes at a time. You must pay attention to nearly every moment to get the full effect, otherwise, the show will not have an impact.
