Story:10 out of 10
The plot of Clannad AS continues where the first season left off,so to enjoy it you'll have to watch Clannad first.The story start off based on arcs,like the first season,and covers up the characters that weren't previously developed.As you can expect,these ''side-stories'' are really,really great.You'll never find anything out of place,and almost every one of these side-stories have a linking to the main couple.And the Plot of AS focus on the story of the life of this couple,all the hardships they went through,and how they deal with it.To me,this is the only Anime that shows you the meaning of getting a goal in life,something to protect.It also makes you feel(at least a little bit)how it is to lose someone,or something important to you.

Even better than the 1st season,the artwork and animation on AS is gourgeous.Even until this very day,i haven't seen an Anime with such a good expression before.Every single character perfectly reaches you with the emotions they're feeling.Happines,Sadness,Joy,Grief...Human emotions.The background is also really beaultiful.

The soundtrack is as amazing as the art.Happy tunes for comedy relief,and EXTREMELY DEPRESSING tunes on sad moments.There's also epic vocal songs to the main points of the plot.And by epic,i mean it,you'll feel overwhelmed when you hear it.

Character:9 out of 10
Every character is awesome,there's no denying to that.This is porbably the very first Anime i watched that i didn't dislike any of the characters.Every one have their own past,their own problems in life.The reason i didn't give this a 10,is beacuse characters that where introduced in almost don't appear in AS,since it focuses mainly on new characters and the main couple.But don't worry,they weren't forgotten.And before i forget,Okazaki Tomoya is probably the best protagonist i ever saw on an Anime.

You'll probably are saying:''What,10 to everything?This guy has low standards...''.It's not like that.I've what 100+ more Animes,and theres only 3 who got a round 10 out of me.It's just there's no way to give less than this score to Clannad.I don't see this as just an Anime,or just as a series of Japanese Animation.This,is a piece of art that will emotionally touch you.I've never shed any tears reading a book,or watching a movie or series.Why would i cry for an Anime,it's not even real people there.The reason is quite simple,it's all about the feeling.You'll feel things as if they're happening to you directly...Happy moments,and sad moments as well.Even though i neglected to cry watching this,tears just kept rolling down off my eyes.
A definetely must-watch to those who like Drama,and for those who just want to watch an good Anime.
