If you're someone who has recently moved out on your own, lost a beloved family member, or already have kids; Then this show will hit you in the feels, and keep hitting until you're a wreck and you'll love every minute of it as you cry yourself to sleep.
The show isn't too terribly sad, and it's definitely got it's nice happy fun time moments, what really makes it impactful though is how damn realistic it is. There's no cute, little, perfect siblings who adore their new big bro, it feels like actual people, real interactions etc. It's fantastic, sad, and nothing is perfect, the flaws found in living is what brings this anime to life and that...that is what makes it so beautiful.
That said you might find some things about this anime annoying, I'd say the only real drawback would be a certain running gag, but even with that this anime managed to move me.
