What do you get when you place a girl in a house with four bishies and the mission to turn the girl into a lady? If you said a reverse harem, with romantic moments you are completely wrong!
When I first decided to watch this anime, I expected to see romantic moments, a girl trying to become a lady and four guys falling slowly for her. Well, this was definitely not the case! The girl doesn't want to become a lady, the boys are slowly trying to run away from their duty and the romance is not spread out everywhere!
Story 8/10
The story is unique. There is a main girl that avoids mirrors and doesn't seem willing to change that, and a bunch of bishies running after her to get free rent! The lines are not following the usual shoujo cliche and the setting is something between -a maybe dark- comedy and parody. I would have given a higher rating if it was labeled as a parody, since sometimes it's difficult to take this anime as serious as a comedy should be taken. On the other hand, most comedy shoujo go a little over the top anyways...
Animation 6,5/10
Most people were annoyed by the art (animation).
One reason was the chibi moments. Sunako is a girl with little confidence and that reflects on her looks, appearing as a chibi. But when she gains confidence, her true form is shown. I personally really liked this metaphor and found it funnily realistic.
The second main reason would be the guys looking like girls. This is something that made me think twice before starting the anime, although from a point on I stopped noticing it. But I understand how it could bother other people, hence my lower rating. The manga has a kind of pretty art too, so the anime falls flat on this.

Not much to say! The sounds are ok, matching the plot and scenes, whenever I hear any of those tunes I instantly remember this anime. So even though it's nothing special, it managed to represent the anime's personality fine.
Character 9/10
One of the reasons I loved this anime is how good the characters felt to me. They are all weird! Starting with the main girl, a girl that feels ugly and is fine with it! She is a gothic lolita, without being attractive! If only they made her a little less psychotic with her obsessions!
As for the other characters, they are pretty much all attractive people with flaws that make them look ridiculous at the end of the day! And I love how they spoil their images! None of the characters is perfect, but in this story they fit perfectly the way they are. Not to mention they make a cool group!

Subjectively, I enjoyed this much more than I expected! The perverted humor at times, the dark elements, the nosebleeds and the romantic moments that turned out ridiculous, they all made me laugh and enjoy this a lot!

I have to point out, this is subjective, since I really liked this anime. But I would place it among my top shoujo without a second thought! If I wanted to be more objective, maybe I would have given it an 8/10, especially due to the art.
I tried to be objective about this, but who knows, maybe other people can enjoy it as much as I did!
