Let's dive deeper into the world of Elfen Lied and discuss its quality, its subject and its genre! Giving simple arguments to say goodbye will a possible prejudice to the series!

Was in looking to meet a manga / anime of terror and by chance found Elfen Lied. First impression (when he was not begun reading) was something cliché, with naked girls to get attention and blah blah blah. And honestly I have to confess I broke my face because Elfen Lied is precisely the opposite of what you imagined it to be. I could not help but comment on it here on the blog until it has many things to be commented, so let's get down to business!

Elfen Lied is not about petty deaths. However we see the story turn into very important social issues of our time, we always convinced that nothing is meaningless. What I mean is that Elfen Lied showed me why it is different from the other works with the same gender, and I can say with all the letters that everything is thought out. I've said this in other post's more recalls want them here: I just love smart series! especially when in the end proves to me that everything was planned, nothing was forced, it no doubt is something that I value a lot when I know some manga. I hate it when this work treats me as dumb, forcing terror and even more when nothing makes sense. I believe manga such does not need something raw, something evil told to put fear, on the contrary, I think the more information is displayed more interesting the series can be.

Interestingly, despite the series having a strong theme does not contain highly attractive characters (at least in my opinion). In a way it took me to have some effective bond with the characters, not that they were unfriendly more might be bias on my part. Remember I said earlier this posting my first impression when I knew nothing about Elfen Lied? Yeah ... traces of mangaka between us is not up to much, but it's not complete crap. I mean that the features of the design is nothing attractive, nothing more incredibly detailed history has such a strong appeal that believe that this does not affect the work itself, it goes rather than slaughtered, that is forgivable. To opera digest what I mean is, '' the story is so fuck that not care whether the characters are detailed or not, '' understand what I'm getting at?

Elfen Lied is not the most violent series of the century, but it is one of the most striking, not the heads being cut off more because it brings in itself a dramatic charge. The plot gains strength not by the amount of blood but rather by the emotional appeal, and that makes it different from many other series.

In Elfen Lied there is a selection of charismatic characters you perchance will cling or identify with each of them, No! So as you care about the deaths of characters you do not identify so much? The reason is very simple. No one would come to mourn the death of a single guard or by Kouta family, right? Up because they do not interact much with the audience, so how to care? how to move? Okamoto uses a technique to let the deaths with great force (even if it has not worked out the characters so much to create some kind of bond with the public) and this technique is called: Humanity. I need to say more?

To resume conversation I feel compelled to say a few more little words. I warn them that Elfen Lied deeply explores the worst human emotions, showing the result of bullyng and prejudice, a good pinch of drama and violence enjoying science fiction a good degree, that is, the right amount. Shows the rot of people in the clearest possible way. Do not be scared with ecchi up because it is not the center nor will leave you excited (only if you are a pervert with certain glitches in the head).

The anime has a religious theme song thus leaving the animation with that nice guy we met. You know those songs of birds Marias we hear those church masses? So ..da fear! But like I said before, only to see the anime is not enough because the manga is much more complete in terms of various word.

Although art is clearly questionable, also has a drama that one tiny bit exaggerated, more than in any way interfere with the series as a whole. Its faults become tiny when evaluating its qualities. Macabre and seductive think this sums up Elfen Lied ... goodbye prejudice, and enjoy!
